Position: Billing Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Billing Specialist to join one of our growing clients. This individual will be responsible for managing the billing process for our client, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all billing-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and send accurate invoices to clients on a timely basis
- Review and verify billing data to ensure accuracy
- Resolve any billing discrepancies or issues in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor and track client payments and follow up on any outstanding balances
- Maintain and update billing records and client information in our database
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate billing
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to billing
- Prepare and analyze billing reports for management
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations related to billing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of billing processes and best practices
- Experience in a consulting or professional services environment is a plus
