Dental Treatment Coordinator

Dental Treatment Coordinator - Maxillofacial Surgery Practice, Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth)

Our client, a Maxillofacial Surgeon based in Port Elizabeth is seeking to recruit a dental treatment coordinator to assist with dental procedures and medical administration.

Responsibilities:

• Meet and greet patients in a warm and friendly manner
• Assisting with dental procedures and preparing the patient file in respect of information e.g., if it is an injury patient information, coding and submission thereof to the receptionist
• Diary management
• Patient account management / invoicing and debtors' management
• Medical aid liaison
• Intermediary role between practice and suppliers
• Stock control and ordering of stock
• Office management and general assisting duties

Qualification and Requirements:

• Matric
• Dental Assistant Qualification will be beneficial
• At least 2-3 years' experience in a similar dental assistant position is essential
• Any medical patient software system is beneficial

Working hours:
