Position Overview:
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the highest level of software quality. This role requires a solid understanding of BDD practices and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams. Experience in the Fintech sector and knowledge of Tricentis Test Management tools is a significant advantage.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using BDD frameworks such as Cucumber, SpecFlow, or similar.
- Implement and manage test automation frameworks, ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Collaborate with development, product management, and QA teams to define test scenarios, ensure comprehensive test coverage, and maintain high-quality standards.
- Execute and analyse automated test suites to identify and report defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Utilise Tricentis Test Management tools to manage test cases, execution, and reporting, improving test coverage and efficiency.
- Participate in manual testing efforts when necessary to ensure critical issues are identified and resolved.
- Document and maintain test cases, test scripts, and other QA-related documentation.
- Provide regular reports on testing progress, results, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in QA automation, BDD, and Fintech industry standards

Qualification and Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Years of Experience
Minimum: 4 years after qualification
Maximum: 6 years after qualification
Professional Expertise
Critical:
- Experience in the Fintech industry, with a thorough understanding of industry-specific challenges and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in using Tricentis Test Management tools for managing test cases, execution, and reporting.
- Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer with a strong focus on BDD frameworks such as Cucumber, SpecFlow, or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
