About the Role
 

As Sales Head you will be accountable for the delivery of budget and revenue forecasts for the Africa division. You'll be responsible for the development and implementation of overall strategy agreed on by EXCO. You will ensure the sustainability of revenue growth of our product offerings throughout LexisNexis SADC permitted African territories.
 

Responsibilities

  • Developing revenue contingency plans to account for unforeseen variances in forecasts and ensure delivery of targets.
  • Generating and sustaining new business pipeline for all LexisNexis product offerings for assigned territories.
  • Implementing the annual strategic plan as agreed with the Executive Team in South Africa.
  • Monitoring and pursuing opportunities in new markets and (report - Change to record) daily on progress on our CRM system.
  • Compiling and delivering quotes, proposals and tender documents.
  • Researching and remaining abreast of international / local comparative trends and product developments.
  • Developing marketing campaigns to increase awareness of the product/services in the local SADC market and African markets.
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring visitation programs to source new customers and opportunities.


Requirements

  • Have a degree in Law, Marketing or Business Management.
  • Experience in selling technology solutions in the legal sector.
  • Experience in selling governance, risk and compliance software solutions in the corporate sector.
  • Able to fully incorporate LexisNexis values into every aspect of work.
  • Have good judgment and integrative thinking, be a strategic thinker and results focused.
  • Be political savvy, patience, flexible and creative.
  • Have excellent customer relationship management skills.
  • Able to travel into other African countries.
