A global pharmaceutical company have a short term contract position for a SAP Consultant.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Workstream Business Support:
  • Liaison between the business and teams in support of design, testing and implementation;
  • Support business with:
    • requirements confirmation – verifying if delivered solution guarantees business continuity (processes and information);
    • identify key business and test scenarios;
    • support change, training and security provisioning.
  • Represent business in workstream meetings.
Master Data Migration:
  • Support business with data migration activities (collection, completion, cleansing) based on global methods and support business users to prepare recommended data load templates;
    • Support product data readiness from catalog / existing master data to BOMs and Recipes / tasks lists, by business priority.
  • Provide inputs to divisions master data governance
Change Management and Communications:
  • Support training of key users and local users,
  • Instruct users in local language based on English training materials provided by the company's central Eco-system team.
Business Readiness:
  • Support business in business go-live activities.
  • Support key-users during hyper care.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Experience or senior expertise is required in one of the business departments / fields: Operations Management and Manufacturing (incl. plant maintenance); Procurement; Sales (Order to Cash); Quality; Supply Chain Management (including S&OP); Transport and Distribution; Master data management; Application (ERP) management, esp. discrete manufacturing.
  • Experience in SAP migrations, from key-user, workstream lead, integration lead perspective.
  • Hierarchical reporting in the business workstream of the site project and participating in the project on behalf of an assigned department.
    • Advise on and contribute to ERP migration initiatives within the own work-area and on departmental level.
    • Participate and support in the various department related ERP implementation initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of processes within own functional aera and share practices and solutions over multiple sites.
  • Assisting the team in analyzing data in the existing Legacy systems.
    • Developing a data strategy for converting existing data, advice on archiving & restoration process
  • Senior SAP-user, in-depth SAP knowledge requested (mandatory), AERA knowledge desired:
    • Familiar with the process and responsibilities (business versus IT) to deploy requirements in SAP configuration and customization process.
    • Experience in defining test-scenario’s, test execution and test-documentation.
  • Verifying resolution provided by IT for identified GAPs:
    • Identifying functional specifications when global template or unidentified gaps were missed.
    • Thorough (data and process) analysis, and execution of department project deliverables in close cooperation with the business process owner and other functional business departments including Finance, Commercial, Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, Warehouse and Distribution, Quality, Master data and IT.
  • Change management:
    • Translate today’s business into actions, can support and run the migration actions related to department deliverables.
    • Translate business processes into project actions.
  • Strong project management skills:
    • Identifying risks and interdependencies, developing mitigation plans and GxP requirements.
    • Manage proactively changes to projects scope, timeline and budget.
  • Reporting to Business process owner (workstream lead):
    • Support line managers, senior department specialists or other specialists in function of the ERP-migration project.
  • Successfully manage relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Align with Animal Health IT on business processes, reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
