We’re looking for an experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead and execute our client acquisition strategy from pipeline generation as well as developing existing client relationships; driving top-line revenue growth and overall end customer adoption.
The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for pursuing new prospects with Verto’s value proposition and converting prospects into a sustainable transacting client base.
What will you be doing:

As the Senior Sales Manager, you are tasked to determine needs, build value, create engagement and acceptance of Verto's solutions with new clients.
- Prospect, identify and generate new opportunities via cold calling, email, phone, Linkedin, in person engagement, etc. to build a pipeline of targeted prospects.
- Manage sales pipeline through sequential states of the sales process: prospect, initial outreach, product demo, negotiation and close.A blackbook of potential clients will be highly advantageous.
- Take a consultative approach with the management team while navigating multiple decision-makers.
- Conduct activities including, outbound calls, emails, social selling and sales demonstrations with prospective clients.
- Consistently exceed your monthly sales quota and be well compensated for doing so.
- Work closely with the Account Management function to upsell and cross sell the Verto suite of products.
You'll Need:

A recognised Bachelor's degree with an RE5 accreditation (Mandatory). RE1 accreditation (highly advantageous).
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of sales experience within an FSP or similar corporate banking/hedge funding environment.
- Experience in dealing with clients from EMEA, LATAM (highly advantageous).
- Understanding of the South African regulatory landscape (desirable).
- Strong executive presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Written and verbal communication in French is a major plus!
- Team player mentality with the ability to work independently toward lofty goals.
- Well rounded with varied interests, background and proven leadership experience.
- Coachable, self-motivated, curious and resilient.
- Excellent organisational skills including prioritisation, scheduling and time management.
