Accountant - BioBee Integrated Crop Solutions

BioBee Integrated Crop Solutions (Pty) Ltd, situated in Letsitele, Limpopo  is a leading South African company producing and marketing beneficial insects and mites and naturally derived products for integrated pest and disease control. The expansion and development of the company necessitates the appointment of a  Accountant to manage and further develop the financial function within the company. The position will report to the CEO.

• Manage and control all transactions on relevant platforms
• Reconcile company bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
• Prepare and analyze cost reports, financial statements, and budget forecasts
• Generating all required financial reports using the income and expenditure data
• Monitor and manage expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints
• Preparation for audits and compiling of year end financial statements
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements
• Preparation of budgets and long term forecasts
• Manage the  company's expenditure and cash flow.
• Develop and implement cost accounting systems and procedures
• Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and strategic initiatives
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes

• BCom Accounting / Finance with 3 - 5  years relevant  experience
• Application and knowledge of IT systems as well as data processing programs, such as Pastel, Draftworx, ACCPAC.
• Export and import costing experiance
• Maintenance of the general- and sub ledgers as well as the preparation of management accounts and reports.
• Development of systems to promote integrity and availability of information
• Management and analysis of variances against budgets and long term forecasts
• Knowledge and practical exposure to HR systems and practices will serve as an advantage. 
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with a high degree of  attention to  detail .
• Proactive and positive, can-do attitude.
• Negotiation experience.
