Introduction

A company in the the financial and technology industry specializing in payment solutions is currently recruiting for a Assistant Manager - Merchant and System Support who will work closely with the Merchant Support and Systems Manager and the technical teams to ensure the smooth running of the organisation merchant and system support operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients, managing technical issues, and maintaining system integrity.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work under pressure in a team environment to provide high-quality merchant and system support
  • Think critically and forward-think, always seeking ways to improve the current work environment and system
  • Ensure system security and integrity are top priority always
  • Willingness to learn new skills and systems outside of daily tasks
  • Think outside the box and share ideas with the team
  • Prioritize tasks and manage support tickets efficiently
  • Proven track record of excellent customer service

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Presentable with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to work overtime
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Windows Server 2012, Microsoft SQL, MS AD and DNS
  • Certifications in CompTiA A+ and N+ are a must; MS Azure Solution Architect and MCSE or MCSA prior to Azure preferred
  • Understanding of networks and firewalls; CCNA or any Cisco Qualification is a bonus, knowledge of Fortigate Firewalls advantageous
  • Knowledge of change control procedures
  • Understanding of PCI-DSS and its requirements
  • Knowledge of Postman and SOAPUI and the difference between REST and SOAP
  • Understanding of HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, SFTP and FTPS
  • Understanding of the OSI model and how data is transferred over a network.
  • Prior knowledge of a WAF
  • MS Office 365 Administration
  • Support ticket management and knowledge of ZOHO Desk will be a bonus
