The Engineering Department at Ashesi:

Through its curricula and research, our fast-growing Engineering Department at Ashesi is helping deepen a culture of innovation, critical thinking, and hands-on learning on campus. As part of our third-decade strategic plan, we are expanding our current majors – Undergraduate Computer, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering, and a Master’s in Mechatronic Engineering – to include undergraduate majors in Mechatronic Engineering and Bioengineering.


The Faculty Role:


Responsibilities:

We are looking for dynamic electrical engineering faculty.

  • You should be able to teach with passion. Expertise in electronics and experience with process control and automation will be a plus.
  • You must possess a passion for both academic excellence and can demonstrate real-world industry applications.
  • You must be happy to do research in an allied area.


Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in electrical/electronic engineering, industrial automation, or any related field.
  • Industry experience in a related field that provides valuable practical insights.
  • A deep commitment to teaching and mentoring students.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both in the classroom and in collaborative research settings.
  • A visionary approach to advancing knowledge and innovation in engineering.
