Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Branch Oversight

  • Full accountability for the Automatic branch and its supporting sites.
  • Set and achieve branch profitability targets.
  • Maintain the vision, mission, culture, and values of Mayfair Gearbox across all sites.
  • Develop succession plans for key roles to ensure sustainability.

Performance and Employee Management

  • Communicate KPIs and benchmarks to subordinates and conduct biannual performance appraisals.
  • Provide team leadership, support, and development to ensure skill enhancement and effective role fulfillment.
  • Promote a positive, safe, and productive workplace culture adhering to ISO and client safety protocols.

Operational Efficiency and Resource Management

  • Analyze costs, processes, and productivity annually; create and implement improvement plans upon approval.
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively, ensuring company assets are utilized properly.
  • Enforce quality control, cleanliness, and safety standards across all sites.

Customer Satisfaction and Relationship Management

  • Address client issues, complaints, and queries promptly and ethically, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze customer service trends and implement system improvements where needed.
  • Nurture client relationships and ensure SLA compliance.

Site and Sales Management

  • Oversee site operations, ensuring work prioritization, progress tracking, and meeting deadlines.
  • Monitor sales performance, report to the executive team, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage and audit job card accuracy and vehicle service accounts.

Health, Safety, and Compliance

  • Ensure site safety inspections are conducted weekly, reporting findings to the Operations Director.
  • Promote and maintain adherence to ISO guidelines and client safety protocols.

Client and Team Interaction

  • Facilitate client meetings and maintain positive relationships.
  • Foster effective communication among managers to ensure proper resource availability and site maintenance.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Over 15 years of relevant experience, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Logical thinker with technical expertise.
  • Proven leadership and strategic management skills.
  • Experience in customer service, employee management, and operational efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of ISO safety guidelines and automotive industry practices.
