We are seeking a skilled Machine Technician with experience in operating and maintaining Sidel and Huskey machines in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that our machinery is running smoothly and producing high-quality products on a consistent basis.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain Sidel and Huskey machines in accordance with company guidelines and safety regulations
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize production output
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of machine maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience operating and maintaining Sidel and Huskey machines
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical certification or degree in a related field
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
