Mine Overseer - Coal

Hire Resolve's Client is urgently looking for a Mine Overseer for a Coal Mine in Mpumalanga. 

Responsibilities:

• Management of the health and safety performance in area of responsibility 
• Planning of short, medium and long-term mining activities 
• Management of production budget 
• Management of personnel (attendance, leave, training, supervision, etc.), cost of production (rand/ton), and achieving or exceeding the production budgets 
• Management of the lamp rooms and control room including all safety equipment that is used underground  
• Control of all underground conveyor systems 
• Control of operations and running of machinery as well as erection, re-erection and removal of machinery underground 

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Mine Overseer's Certificate of Competency for Fiery Mines
• Blasting Certificate for Fiery Mines
• 5 years experience on a Coal Mine
