DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
Managing, Leading and Controlling
- Day to day management of employees
- To ensure that all employees are exposed to a healthy and safe environment
- RTW sessions scheduled and conducted
Production and Quality standards
- Managing an entire sofa production line from start to finish – frame making, poly, foam up, upholstery and bottoms and stubs.
- To ensure that the units produced are on target for each department and are of the correct quality standard.
- Consequence Management
- Contribute to the greater goal of the Factory
Training
- Identify all training need and report to Production Manager
Performance Management
- Monitoring the individual performance to ensure set standards are maintained and achieved
- Consequence Management
- Contribute to the greater goal of the Factory
Reporting
- Record all target statistics and data
Effective Team-work and Self-Management
- Incumbent achieves results in ways that build strong partnerships, both internally and externally

Experience and Qualification:
- Grade 12 or NQF level 4 equivalence
- Production Diploma or Certificate advantageous
- Leadership skills
- 3–5-year Supervisory experience
- Planning and organizing
- Experience in furniture manufacturing industry advantageous
