Our client is Multi-National Fleet Telematics & IoT service provider with offices on all continents, including South Africa on our continent, operating for over 20 years with an extensive supplier and recovery network. Our client has a vacancy for a New Business Sales Role (Proven Strong Hunting Skills Required). The successful candidate will be responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation, sales cycle management and deal closure. Develops and implements agreed upon Sales Plan which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base in the relevant marketing area. Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values. Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain industries would be advantageous
Experience
- At least 5 yearsβ sales experience of complex and/or big deal management with a proven track record in closing deals.
- At least 3 yearsβ experience selling IOT solutions across industries.
- Established network

Requirements
Competence:
- Proven track record of closing deals and achieving sales targets.
- Generate leads through cold calling from database; canvassing; referrals; networking. Manage conversion ratio from lead generation into new business sale.
- Build a quality pipeline to meet set monthly new business sales targets.
- Follow up on leads and prospects to close
- Manage pipeline velocity to drive a deal/opportunity to close
- Maintain online CRM report to National Sales Manager
- Maintain sales professional standards at all times

Compulsory Minimum Requirements:
- The skills set required is STRONG βHUNTINGβ Sales.
- Experience with Vehicle Telematics Industry and Mobile Resource Management or IoT technical solution selling industry advantageous.
- Extensive experience in all aspects of customer relationship management.
- Strong understanding of the customer and decision-making dynamics is a key requirement.
- Willingness to travel and work within a team of professionals.
- Proven ability to achieve sales quotas and work under quarterly review.
Other Qualities:
- Able to communicate in English
- Must be customer and goal focused and be able to follow through on tasks without the need for micro management
- Must be competent in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Proficient in the use of email
- Must be capable of self-management
- Must be prepared to travel and work outside of office hours when the need arises
- Must be approachable and keep the needs of the client uppermost in mind
