- Conducts and ensures daily EHS meetings and routine inspections within the facility.
- Co-ordinates with external EHS relations i.e., NERC, LASEPA, NESREA, FMENV, Min of Labor and Productivity, SON, etc. to ensure full compliance with their requirements.
- Assist in and conduct periodic audits to ensure conformity of processes with permits, company EHS standards, regulatory requirements, etc.,
- Review and update risk assessment log as required. Also participate in risk assessment.
- Develop and implement emergency drills at site.
- Ensure all emergency controls are established, implemented, and maintained within the business.
- Develop and implement audit plans, programs, etc. in line with company requirements at group level.
- Support on-site implementation of EHS training.
- Facilitate experience sharing and convergence on EHS matters.
- Support process owners in incident investigations. Also ensure that lessons learned are shared all through the site.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Sciences, or any relevant discipline.
- Membership of relevant professional body i.e., ASQ, IRCA/CQI, ISPON, ASSP, IOSH, IEMA, etc.
- Minimum 3 - 5 yearsβ EHS work experience.
- Certified to ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 and 45001:2018 with valid certificates.
- Valid EHS certifications i.e., NEBOSH IGC, NEBOSH NEC, ASQ β CQPA, BCSP - (ASP β Associate Safety Professional), etc.
